Alcohol Ink Beginners Workshop
"The secrets to painting with Alcohol Ink"
In this workshop I will take you step by step through our usual face to face class sharing all the techniques used in this new and exciting artform. The workshop will be divided into 4 different projects.
Project 1 Painting on a Ceramic Tile
Project 2 Flowers
Project 3 An Abstract Landscape
Project 4 Painting on a Ceramic Pot
Each is a separate video so you can come and go as you please, lasting about 2 hours in its entirety.
The materials used are from our Alcohol Ink Starter Kit which can be purchased here.
The last project has you painting on a white ceramic piece, which you will need to supply. A white ceramic pot or a vase or even a plain white coffee mug will do the trick.
Or if you already have your own supplies the following is a list of what we will use.
Alcohol Ink various colours + 1 metallic color
Blending Solution or Isopropyl Alcohol in applicator bottle and mini spray bottle
Gloves
Drinking Straw
Yuppo Paper x 2 sheets
Ceramic white tiles
Small Paintbrush
Palette to hold some blending solution

In this advanced workshop I will show you the techniques to create the beautiful and illusive alcohol ink rose. I share how to make an ink brew and how to wrestle with a hairdryer!!!
