Community and Culture

This time last week I was wrapping up a couple of lovely workshops for teenagers.

These were made extra special because they were funded as part of an AlburyCity Community and Cultural grant. I loved teaching these guys because it so reminded me of myself at their age, the kid who’s calling was art (not so fab at sports or dance!!)

To watch them delve in and create some unique pieces was fab.

But it didn’t stop there, each participant got to take home an art pack with all the bits and bobs they would need to continue the journey. Taking it from an afternoon’s entertainment into the beginning of a new creative pastime.
