December on Hansen 2024

Towong Shire Council engaged Art Starts Here to be a part of their “December on Hansen” project that included Christmas themed displays in the streets of Corryong.
Locals were invited to come along and get into the community Christmas spirit, over 4 community workshops, creating gorgeous mosaiced baubles, that would then hang as part the towns Christmas display.
The two local Corryong primary schools were also included in the fun, with over 120 participants & baubles created and shared.
The baubles were available to collect once the festivities are over as a keepsake of the event.
It was a great initiative and lovely to watch both adults and kids combing the displays to find their personal bauble.
