Social Connect

Last week with the kind support of a Wodonga Council community grant I was able to facilitate 2 silk scarf marbling workshops. These were in response to the isolation we have all felt as a result of covid. The aim was to reconnect and have some fun.

It was so much more than that.

Some of the participants had moved into the area during covid and hadn’t had the opportunity to meet anyone new, others came with a friend and extended that friendship, new social groups were formed.

It was such a privilege to be in the room with such positive and amazing women.

Sure we made some lovely scarves but the laughter and social connections we made were the highlight of the day.
