Facilitated by AGaMA (Australian Galleries and Museum Assoc), this project saw myself and another local photographer Carmela Parkin setting up temporary digitisation studios throughout the Towong Shire. Providing the ability for local residents to have documents, photographs and special personal effects scanned or photographed and receiving digital copies on a USB stick for safekeeping. We had such a range of items bought in. An 85 year old baby rattle, well-loved threadbare teddies, albums filled with memories, postcards sent with love and medals signifying commitment and sacrifice, it's was a project of treasures and heartfelt moments.
